Your words make me cry 

The remind me of feelings I had

When I was more whole and more lost 

They dissect the blockage in my heart 

And articulate the wound

They pierce through intensely enough to chip away a hole

I feel the pain

It’s burdened

Your words make a path

I leap towards them 

The anticipation propels me forward

Reaching 

Stretching 

Remembering 

Moving
